The beach access was incredibly convenient and beautiful.
During my stay, the air conditioning in the room was problematic, causing discomfort. I had to call maintenance multiple times to address its ongoing issues.

The beachfront room offered a stunning view, but access issues made it frustrating.

The fish dishes were straight fire, especially at the nearby Fairways Restaurant, where I was diving into the freshest catches! Plus, the impeccable service at Chedi El Gouna really stood out, with the staff going all out to ensure we felt pampered. The beach-front rooms? Oh man, waking up to that view was a total vibe.
But, I gotta spill the tea about our key card drama. They kept activating it, which led to a surprise guest entering our room! Then, when we stepped out, the front desk wiped all permissions, leaving us locked out. No heads-up about what was happening, which wasn’t cool for a ‘luxury’ spot.

Spending time at The Chedi El Gouna was unforgettable. The grounds looked stunning, with well-maintained gardens and beautiful beachfront access. My Beachfront room sat right on the sand. No better feeling than waking up to the sound of the waves! The staff genuinely made the stay exceptional. They were incredibly attentive. Even during Ramadan, they managed to keep their spirits high and offered great service. Special shoutout to Romani and Mahmoud at the reception, who were so friendly. A refreshing surprise was the variety of snacks given throughout the day. However, the checkout process was a bit frustrating. I felt blindsided by unexpected charges at the beauty center, which took away from the overall experience. Additionally, it would have been nice to have a way to rinse off sand before heading to our room from the beach. Overall, though, The Chedi made us feel pampered, and the experience was mostly delightful. I'll recommend it wholeheartedly!
